Just three blocks away on Commercial Street, Collective Goods is a French style bistro with delicious food.

Earnest is a true Vancouver original with perfect ice cream and incredible flavours. You will know how popular it is when you see the lineup, but don't worry, it moves along fairly fast. It's about a 25 minute leisurely walk away, on Fraser and E 24th.

Vancouver is known for great sushi and there are too many choices to list here. We mention Naruto because it's close by, at 2763 Commercial St, and offers quality sushi at a reasonable price. It's more of a takeout place than eat in.

Ashiana is probably the most underrated restaurant in the city. The butter chicken is the best we've had, and their lamb dishes are outstanding. This is our go-to for Indian food year round. It's withing walking distance on Kingsway near Knight.

For casual Chinese food, either eat-in or take out, we love Chongqing at Commercial and E 12th Ave. It's about a 15-minute walk away.

Marcello serves outstanding pizza and pasta in a unique and popular restaurant on Commercial at Kitchener. The eat-in atmosphere is energetic and there is a one-of-a-kind wood fired pizza oven as a centrepiece.

Kozak, at Victoria Drive and E 34th Ave is a short walk away and offers outstanding Ukranian food, including fresh pierogies and delicious desserts. This is a hidden gem.

Flourist is a great breakfast or lunch spot, with fresh baked goods and great coffee in a cool-looking space. Very close, only about 5 minutes' walk on Commercial Street near Victoria Diversion. 

Loula's serves outstanding Greek cuisine in a lively atmosphere on Commercial Drive. If you like to stay out late it becomes a party after about 10 PM. Located on Commercial at E 1st Avenue.
